Archery

We operate a fully mobile Archery service that is suited to many situations from School and Scout groups to Corporate events and even Weddings. Our leaders are all fully qualified GNAS instructors, whilst our coaching style and equipment suits all ages and abilities.

Archery Events and Courses
The Bow and Arrow are ancient tools that have been relied on for thousands of years for hunting, waging war and defence. For ages people kept their skills sharp by practising with targets of various sizes and at differing ranges.
We can teach Target, Clout and Field Archery at a venue/event of your choice or you can come down to Torquay and use our outdoor range.
Learning to shoot is challenging and exciting, it can also help with hand/eye coordination and encourage a disciplined approach to sport.
Book the range for a day and you give an exciting archery experience to as many people as you like

Archery Courses and Events

When you book the Backwater Adventures Archery range, you get an activity which can be held indoors, for example in a sports hall, or outside on a field or football pitch. The range accommodates up to 12 people at any one time, usually shooting in groups of 6. We can offer short taster sessions to a number of groups in a day or provide amore comprehensive days activity to one group, the choice is yours! Our range of traditional and contemporary equipment is suitable for right and lefthanded archers, aged from 8 to 80.
